AIMS is a vibrant, innovative, and forward-thinking institution in Somalia that was founded in 2018 as a research and career development institution. The origins of the institute’s operations and philosophy can be traced back to the foundation of the Somali social development association, which is detailed in the history section. AIMS is committed to delivering scientific research, and interdisciplinary academic programs that are contextually relevant to both the local and global contexts, with the goal of developing the transdisciplinary competent human potential that foster holistic development.
We advocate for high-quality education and research that meets international standards. The Institute develops and promotes highly motivated workers in the fields of social sciences, engineering, health sciences, and languages. Our educational, research and social efforts will shape our society’s future. This ambition in our portfolios and public acceptance will be our inspiration to work determinedly and assertively.
We strongly believe that the future of our country, region, and humanity, in general, will depend on well-educated people and strong leaders.
